Through clips and interviews with the likes of Roger Corman, Ray Harryhausen, John Landis and Ray Bradbury, this documentary traces Ackerman’s 90 year transformation from obsessed movie-going toddler to sci-fi literary agent to “deaditor” that inspired some of Hollywood’s most successful filmmakers.

Famous Monsters also tours the infamous Ackermansion, which housed a 300,000 piece collection of sci-fi, fantasy and horror memorabilia.

This documentary offers the sci-fi and fantasy fan a mind-boggling trip down monster memory lane from teh man who was there from the very beginning.
