My name is Bret M. Herholz and for Annie’s Book Stop of Worcester, I work the register, am the store’s part-time graphics guy and officially am their unoffical “Blog Boy”. Outside of the store, I am the author of nine books and also work as a youth art instructor for the Worcester Art Museum, as well a few other after and during school classes. I am married to Syd and we live with a bitey and swatty cat.
Bret’s favorite gift item at Annie’s Book Stop of Worcester Name, price, brief description
The TARDIS COOKIE JAR
A Ceramic Cook Jar in the shape of the Doctor’s time and space ship The TARDIS.
What makes this a great gift?
It’s so unique and well made. In all my time as a Doctor Who fan, I don’t think I’ve seen anything like it. The best of both worlds for people who love Doctor Who and cookies.
Wax on about your love. 🙂 (We meant about the gift, but this was too cute not to include! – Thanks, Bret!)
I would say Syd, but I think she would hit me for being sappy. I love to draw, read, go on day trips, our cats, doing silly voices. I was pretty much raised on British television thanks in part to PBS which I developed my love for Doctor Who, Monty Python and other classic programs. I’m fanatical about Sherlock Holmes, PG Wodehouse and Evelyn Waugh’s writing.
