Events Buzz: Let’s get Medieval for this Release Party!

12092013 - CoverThis past Saturday, Annie’s Book Stop of Worcester had a special off-site event  at The Castle Restaurant in Leicester, MA for the release party of one of our employees, T.J. Wooldridge, who is debuting her first novel, The Kelpie just in time for Christmas!

As the setting for The Kelpie is in a castle in Scotland, the venue with its armor, décor, and even a moat was perfect

You can see the write-up of The Kelpie in last week’s “Kids and Teens” blog post here.

As for the party…

The food was delicious: a spread of tea sandwiches, fruit, crackers, cheese, and coffee and tea. And the service was excellent, with two people coming around for additional drink orders and with hot hors d’oeuvres.

Patty covered sales.

12092013 - Better Patty selling books

We sold an awful lot of copies if The Kelpie to visitors coming from all over, including southern Connecticut, Maine, New Hampshire, and even as far as Maryland!

T. J. Wooldridge had a lot of signing to do.

While the official release date isn’t until December 17th, ABSW has special permission to offer the book right away, so you can get your signed copy now—in time for your holiday giving!
