Happy Spring—with a side of New England snow! Because: New England.

Still, days are getting longer and (eventually?) warmer. It’s becoming the season to laze around outside with a good book. It’s also our sidewalk sale season—so check out our carts outside for even more savings on the titles you want.

As always, many thanks to all the folks who came out to support our events last week and weekend. We had a great Doctor Who Discussion about Companions on Thursday, and on Saturday, we had a lovely time with Caitlin Avery and H.A. Raynes talking about road trips adventures and futuristic thrillers. We also had a great meeting with the Rainbow Readers, our LGBTQA book club, as they talked about the Song of Achilles.

We WILL be open our regular hours of 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM on Easter Sunday.

And THIS FRIDAY, March 25, we are very excited at Victor Infante’s return with Worcester Storytellers. Worcester Storytellers will start with their usual open mic readings at 7:00, finishing with Victor’s feature. The bookstore already has copies of Murder Ink, and Victor will be bringing a limited number of copies of his most recent release, the poetry chapbook, Hymns from the Salvation Jukebox. You can find out more about Victor from our interview with him this past Friday.

To finish out the month, THIS MONDAY, March 28, from 7:00 – 8:00 PM, ABSW welcomes back the Free People’s Artists Workshop at 7:00 for an evening of networking and feedback with other local artists and artisans, co-sponsored by the Worcester County Poetry Association.
