Happy Official Autumn as of this week, friends!
We love autumn for a lot of reasons at the store – not the least of which being Halloween! We’ve put together a lovely display up front of some of our favorite fall reads. Some may even be a surprise to you, so check them out!
Thank you to everyone who’s been voting for us in the Telegram’s “Best Of” ballot! We are up for “Best Bookstore” in Worcester County. If you agree, we would appreciate your vote! Added bonus: registering to vote gets you entered to win $300. You can also support your other favorite local businesses and vote for a variety of places that you think are the “Best Of” in their category.
For those of you back in school, or with kids back in school, if you’re still finding out about books you’ll need to read for this semester or this year – literature, classics, and more – check in at our 65 James Street location. We might be able to help you out! If it’s not on our shelves, we can order books for you.
This past week, we had a great time with our Doctor Who Discussion Night and Rainbow Reader events, including the Rainbow Reader Youth discussion of The Abyss Surrounds Us by Emily Skrutskie, our visit from voice actor Greg Tremblay, and our Rainbow Reader discussion of The Bone Doll’s Twin by Lynn Flewelling. Thank you to everyone who came out!
