Annie’s Book Stop of Worcester, the “bigger on the inside” bookstore at 65 James Street, is happy to present our 2016 recommendations for gifts this year.

One of our favorite things to both give and get during the holiday season are boxed sets of books.  Treat yourself and your loved ones to slipcased series both old and new!

We have some marvelous recommendations this year for everyone on your list.

  • For your young adult reader who’s looking for something different in speculative fiction, try the duology of SIX OF CROWS and CROOKED KINGDOM by Leigh Bardugo or the four-book series THE LUNAR CHRONICLES by Marissa Meyer.
  • Middle readers will enjoy ASTRONAUTS, SPIES AND HIPPOPOTAMI, a set of the first books in his varied series by Stuart Gibbs, as well as THE RANGER’S APPRENTICE series by John Flanagan.

  • For adults, we’re pleased to recommend the boxed set of the LONGMIRE Western mysteries by Craig Johnson and the IRISH COUNTRY DOCTOR books by Patrick Taylor.

Our experienced staff will be happy to offer even more recommendations and to assist you with all your shopping needs for everyone on your list.
